Fertility counseling, insemination & homebirth services in the Greater Boston area
Autonomy is at the center of my approach to care. I am guided by trust in the physiological process of birth and deep respect for every person's relationship with their body. I am passionate about everyone getting respectful, nurturing, and healing care on their fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys--especially folks who live outside social norms and privileges. My care is holistic, individualized, trauma informed, and family centered.
I offer a range of services to support people on their conception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys.
I am not taking private clients for homebirth care at this time, but I am a midwife with Birthmatters Midwifery. Please contact us at www.homebirthmatters.com if you're here for homebirth services. Scroll down for details about services I offer.
I am a Certified Professional Midwife, certified doula, lactation educator, and childbirth educator. I've been learning, training, and working alongside many incredible midwives in the Boston area since 2021 and completed my studies at Jennie Joseph's Commonsense Childbirth School of Midwifery. I came to midwifery from community organizing and am committed to midwifery as a healing practice. I love growing flowers, collecting hobbies (currently on quilting), and spending time with my partner & our dog.
Whoever you are and wherever you're at on your journey, I am here for you! My care is queer and trans affirming, and pro bodies of any size, shape, and gender expression.
During an intrauterine insemination (IUI), sperm is placed directly into the uterus with a small catheter, enhancing chances of pregnancy. It can be done with fresh or refrigerated sperm--which involves a "washing" process, or with a frozen specimen. With no known fertility issues, IUI is a cost-effective step to try before going to IVF.

In this class, we learn about the incredible physiological process of birth and how to cope with it. We do some hands-on practice of positions and comfort measures, too. In the second session, we go over backup planning, postpartum preparation, and do a brief intro to breastfeeding. These classes are tailored towards homebirth but can be adjusted by request.
Group classes offered on an ad hoc basis. This is a great opportunity to meet and build community with folks who are sharing some aspects of your pregnancy experience. The class will meet twice, for 2-3 hours each session.
Feel free to invite other members of your birth team, at a small additional cost. Usually a 3 hour offering.
Postpartum support is so important. It can be a very challenging time full of unknowns, and no one should do it alone. I have over a decade of experience in caring for newborns and helping parents through their transitions.
I offer 2-3 hour sessions, up to 3 times a week. In these sessions I can provide lactation support, light housework, or a safe place for your baby to nap while you do whatever you need! Unfortunately I do not provide overnight support at this time.
Wholistic, clinical care for you and your newborn for the first 12 weeks postpartum.
